Once created, you can share the video via the normal channels: email, text, social media, website, you name it. A drop-down menu lets you choose the effect you want. To do that, tap the Live arrow at the left above the photo. You can also use a Live Photo with special effects such as Loop and Bounce which, functioning more like a GIF, either replays the Live Photo forever in a loop or plays the video in perpetual forward and reverse motion. From there you can trim or edit it as you would any other video or immediately share it as is. Your video will appear as the last entry in the Camera Roll. To find the new video, go back to Albums and choose Recents. At the top right, tap the three-dot More button, and from the resulting menu, choose Save as Video. Go into the Photos app and under Albums choose Media Types and then tap Live Photos. I was satisfied with this app until I realized you could only convert two photos a day. I decided to buy a subscription so I could convert unlimited pictures into videos but it doesn’t allow me. Selecting a region changes the language and/or content on you’ve shot your picture, you can make it universally sharable by converting it into a video. I love being able to turn live pictures into videos however you’re only allowed to convert two photos into a video per day. Loop repeatedly plays the animation of your photo for a set period. Just click the share icon and scroll down to the Save as Video option. You can also convert the Live Photo to a video clip in the Share menu. Two effects in particular, Bounce and Loop, will animate your capture. Then swipe up on the photo to access the Effects menu. Open the image you want to convert in the iOS Photos app. This method has one critical difference - you transform your images into a clip. The video is a copy that retains the quality of the original photo and the source image will remain unchanged.Įven if your software isn’t up to date, as long as your mobile device has iOS 11, you can still change live pictures to video. No need to worry about the conversion process. Afterward, you will see a new video of your Live Photo in your Recents album.
